Commissioning a mosaic for your church
31/01/2024
Would you like to have your church or church hall/building uplifted illustrating God's love and scripture in mosaic?
There are some careful considerations in doing so and the Church of England have provided a handy article advising on the process
https://www.churchofengland.org/sites/default/files/2018-11/CCB_Commissioning-new-art-for-churches_High-resolution_2017.pdf
As the article suggests the fabric of the building must be safeguarded and a simpler solution can be placing the mosaic in a church hall or having a free standing secure piece of art either on temporary or permanent display.
One suggestion for a funding strategy might be to explore Crowdfunding, more information via
