CHRISTIAN ART BY SUE KERSHAW

As a child, the illustrative drawings of Annie Vallotton in the Good News Bible (1976) unlocked the bible for me.

Some forty years later, as a mosaic artist, I also create simple line drawings capturing my understanding of the bible’s teachings and God’s love. I am currently creating a collection in mosaic.

A good number of the images featured are also influenced by my reading of Julian of Norwich ‘Revelations of Divine Love’ kindly given by a friend.

I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with congregations, communities, health-related groups and primary schools to create Christian mosaics for a variety of settings.

My North Yorkshire home studio is in the picturesque, historic village of Sheriff Hutton (known for Richard III's ruinous castle) though my artwork has taken across the UK.

I hope that my drawings may be used to worship God.
